  1. Baptism is merely a symbolic act
  2. By being baptized I’m obeying God’s command and earn His favor
  3. Only those who understand the Christian faith should be baptized
  4. Since I’m baptized I’m saved
  5. Unbaptized adults don’t need to be concerned about baptism
